Seems like this word was the most-looked-up because of the prevalence and confusion around artificial intelligence, as people get used to its effects on our world. From deep fakes in videos and photographs to made-up stories in publications and online. People are having to investigate to figure out

is that an authentic Prada handbag, how the information can be authenticated, how to establish user-authentication, who can verify the authenticity of the information, and if an authenticator is needed to verify the information.
